Council sneaking things through during pandemic

A whole batch of Experimental Traffic Orders have been made permanent as of 16th April. These include all the closures and one-ways in and around Capworth St despite the huge protests organised by members Val and Brian from Stay Together. Second, experimental TOs in the Leytonstone East CPZ have also been made permanent.

These orders were only made in August 2019, so the council has not waited for anything like the 18 months allowed before making the TOs permanent. The third case is for Hale End and Higham Hill CPZs. Again not waiting for the permitted 18 months but just confirming these changes as permanent anyway.
