Hi everyone,
My name is Matt Kendall and I'm a Sustainable Cities Master's student at King's College London. I'm writing a dissertation on Transport for London's Healthy Streets policy and my case study is Waltham Forest. As such, I am looking to carry out some focus group sessions with residents in Waltham Forest to discuss their views and experiences relating to Healthy Streets policy. I am particularly keen on talking to people from various age ranges and backgrounds (16+ yr old schoolchildren to those aged 50/60+, women, parents, business owners, drivers, cyclists and those from different ethnic backgrounds).
If you are interested, are able to commit to keeping a diary for about a week (nothing too detailed), and can meet at the King's College campus in central London in June to discuss findings in a group setting, then please get in touch at matthew.kendall@kcl.ac.uk. Refreshments for the focus group session will be provided.
Thanks!

Hello Matthew
Thought it might help with your research if you looked at some of the documentation on our website eg https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/10ac5f_9f085bf203a74c97966f36e13644c814.pdf https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/10ac5f_3cb7137e78d742bbb20ab42d0efe87bf.pdf and https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/10ac5f_61c9c9356df6438bbab2640a4da0a494.pdf
We were in fruitful discussion with King's about their report, and the incomplete information provided by LBWF. However all response has now ceased from them after Cllr Loakes found out we were having that debate. We wonder why.
We would also suggest that you contact Head Teachers in the 8 schools along Shernhall St where much of the traffic has been forced to travel since closure of side roads. They reported their concerns to the borough a while back. Residents in Palmerston Road are also suffering increased pollution and congestion. We also suggest you speak to ambulance drivers at Whipps Cross Hospital; the demolition of the perfectly serviceable roundabout there and the new junction arrangements cause long queues in both directions where ambulances can no longer get through.
Let us know if you would like to meet with some of our members
