Awards

We are all very confused, as we are sure you are, by the number of awards handed out for dreadful projects. Latest in the list is the shortlisting for the Royal Institute of Town Planning's award for “Excellence in Planning for a Successful Economy” for closing off The Village.

This is a complete mystery to us as all the information we have received seems to be about loss of business due to road closures and parking restrictions. Common saying from those who live in the Village " we are trapped here" ; common saying from those who try to get to the Village " you can't get there from here".
